Anne Frank Library Programs

 


These are all at Pack Memorial Library, in downtown Asheville,
during the month of October. There are actually several more
programs.

Anne Frank: Her Story, Our Story
Thursday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 pm
Pack Memorial Library Children's Department
This evening performance brings Anne Frank's thought provoking
legacy alive in a contemporary context for children and adults.
- Readers' Theater of The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
performed by local youths.
- "I Remember" a musical performance based on "The Diary of Anne
Frank" presented by the Keowee Chamber Music Players.

Design Your Own Journal!
Thursday, Oct. 11 from 6-7:30 pm
Pack Memorial Library Children's Department
Learn to create your own artistic journal with laurie Corral from
BookWorks! The program is free, but registration is required.
Please register by calling the Pack Library Children's Department at
250-4720 by October 4. This program is for ages 10 and up.

The Art of Journal Writing
Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Pack Memorial Library Children's Department
Using Anne Frank's words as inspiration, we will practice the art of
journaling ina creative and encouraging atmosphere. The program is
free, but registration is required. Please register by calling the
Pack Library Children's Department at 250-4720 by October 11. This
program is for kids ages 10 and up.
